A momentous day for Manly Warringah Gymnastics Club as we officially turned the first sod for our new Centre of Excellence! This incredible project marks the beginning of a new chapter for our athletes, coaches, and community — a home that will inspire the next generation of gymnasts and strengthen women’s high-performance gymnastics in NSW and community sport across the Northern Beaches. The new Centre of Excellence is jointly funded by the Australian and NSW Governments, and we are deeply grateful for their support in helping us bring this vision to life. While this milestone is worth celebrating, our journey isn’t over. We’re continuing to seek value-driven partners who share our passion for empowering women in sport and fostering opportunities for all through community gymnastics. Last night at the @sydunisport Blues Awards our very own Club Captain Lucy Stewart (@lucy_steww) was awarded the 2025 Female Blue of the Year. She is the first ever gymnast to win this prestigious award and joins an incredible list of some of Australia’s best athletes.
